Sangeetha's is great! Sometimes with vegetarian Indian restaurants in KL, it can be a struggle finding a place with great ambience as well as great food. Sangeetha's delivers on all counts for sure! My favourite items to order are definitely out of the "chaat" section -- the chef is straight out of India and makes some of the most delicious, authentic dishes. Another common problem with indian food is that it can be too oily -- again, the food here is fresh and healthy, with a homemade touch. None of that nasty commercial refried oil! I'd recommend the cauliflower dosa and the dahi papdi chaat :)

I'm a big fan of Indian Vegetarian food. This place has my favorite dishes from dhall, spicy chickpeas to curried potatoes as well as stir fried veggies. I also like how here's an emphasis on spices instead of packing in the salt into the dishes. Not only is the food here cheap, but it's also delicious. The Indian waiters here are also very kind as they explained what was on their specials today. Very impressed with the service here.

Sangeetha's restaurant is one of my all time favourites in KL! The food here is consistent & the variety leaves you spoilt for choice. Here you would be able to enjoy 2 types of indian cuisines, one being the north indian options & the south indian ones aswell. Over here you have got to try the snack options from their chaat corner. This food station starts at 4pm onwards. The favorites here include the papri chaat & dahi poori which is basically hard biscuit types of mini puris filled with rich yogurt topped with different spices, hot & sour sauces. If your not one to take on spicy stuff, you may want to tell them to tone down on the hot sauce. Another favorite here besides their huge & chrispy thosai's would definitely be their pav bhaaji served with buttered buns. Pav bhaaji is a tomato based mixture of mashed vegetables flavored with different types of masala spices, a must try for sure!

Sangeetha's serves vegetarian north indian food. I go here for breakfast nearly every sunday. I love the tosai and cows milk tea, its very authentic and i cant get tea like this anywhere else. The tosai is very yummy, its soft but crunchy, and the sourness is just right you can even enjoy it without the dhal curry. The vadai is also very nice and super crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Vadai is always served piping hot which i think is so important. Sangeetha's is very expensive compared to many other indian restaurants but its also quite upper class. One tosai and one tea can come up to Rm10 which is quite ridiculous if you ask me but well, i cant find better tosai or tea so i guess this is where i'll be dining at till i find a better cheaper place.

As an Indian food lover, I must say this place is on point! Eventhough it is a Vegetarian Restaurant, you'd be amazed with the amount of selections they have on their menu. Packed on most regular hours, it is a walkable distance from the LRT Masjid Jamek station. It is one of the higher-end South and North Indian restaurants hence it is considerably pricier than your regular mamaks. It is a comfortable and air conditioned dining environment with a glass walled-kitchen. The menus were filled with exotic names that may have caused my hesitance in exploration. My absolute favorite dish out of the limited selections that I have tried, is the Vegetable Springrolls (RM10-12) that reminds me so much of our Chinese Popiahs. It comes in four big pieces that is stuffed with lots of vegetables, and it fills you up just sufficiently for a light and carb-low dinner. It goes really well with the green chutney. Other dishes I have tried are the Vadai and Plain Naan which was really good too. I will definitely visit again to try out the other items on the extensive menu.

Welcome to the vibrant world of Sangeetha Veg. Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at 65, Jalan Leboh Ampang. This unclaimed vegetarian paradise specializes in authentic Indian cuisine, offering both North and South Indian delights. What sets Sangeetha apart is its commitment to authenticity. The dishes are prepared by skilled chefs from India, ensuring that every bite is packed with genuine flavors and spices. Diners have raved about the homemade quality of the dishes, which retain the comfort and warmth of home-cooked meals.

Here are some highlights that you simply cannot miss:

  • Chaat Section: Renowned for its mouth-watering options, the chaat corner is a must-try. Popular choices include dahi papdi chaat and papri chaat, both delivering a burst of flavors and textures that tantalize the palate.
  • Cauliflower Dosa: This crispy delight, enjoyed with various chutneys, is a favorite among regulars who appreciate its authentic taste.
  • Pav Bhaji: A rich, tomato-based vegetable mash, served with buttered buns, this dish encapsulates comfort food at its best and is not to be overlooked!
  • Tosai & Vadai: Their tosai is a crowd-pleaser, with the perfect balance of softness and crunch. Complement it with the crispy vadai for a delightful experience.

The ambience is another highlight: moderate noise levels create a lively yet hospitable environment suitable for families and groups. With options for outdoor seating, you can enjoy your meal while soaking in the surrounding energy of the city. Catering services are also available for larger gatherings, making it a great option for events.

Although the prices may lean towards the higher end compared to typical eateries, the quality and authenticity of the dishes justify the expense. With a convenient delivery and takeout service, along with the ability to pay via credit cards, Sangeetha Veg. Restaurant is easily accessible for everyone.

In summary, Sangeetha Veg. Restaurant isn't just a place to eat; it's an experience for your senses, bringing the rich heritage of Indian vegetarian cuisine to life. If you’re in Kuala Lumpur, don’t miss out on this culinary adventure!
